Fully working 1930's style H.M.V. gramophone. This is the model that HMV-UK made in India for the "Eastern Colonies". Made under license to original spec's and using only materials available in the 1930's. ie:tin, wood, brass, but NO plastic or any other modern material. Hand cranked clockwork mechanism, plays 78rpm records only. The wooden base measures 30cm wide x 30cm deep x 27cm high. They were made in the 1970's and have been in storage since. As these have been in storage for over 40 years, there maybe some slight deterioration in some of the workings. A great ' talking piece'. Simple assembly required.
